day twenty eight

Okay, back on track.  Here's a second attempt at using a fill flash, indoors, hoping to avoid a picture that shows obvious harsh flash usage.

Using kit lens 18-55mm at 38mm, manual mode, f/5, shutter speed 1/160 sec, ISO 400

Surprisingly, I had to increase the exposure on this picture up a smidge.  It wasn't particularly dark, but I wanted to capture how bright the room really felt at this time of day.  Thankfully, the flash managed to prevent shadowing on Liam's face, and it is only even somewhat noticeable (to me) in the slight shine on his ride on toy.  Not bad!
